William Morrison was proprietor of the Hardwick Advertiser also a Magistrate, Detective Officer, and local Council Member. He died from an accident in USA in 1892.
William had a brother named Robert Morrison b. Falkland Fife. married to Ann Symme, 1868 at 115 Kirkgate, Leith, Sc.

This Margaret first married Alexander Lundie a Compositor in Leith Sc. on 6 Jun 1857 who died 1860. Margaret married William Morrison in 1862 and was Great Grandmother to Gregg Morrison(Aust). She was a poet of some reknown and a short biography of her appeared in the Third Series of Modern Scottish Poets - Published 1881, in which Margaret claimed to have been 'orphaned at a very young age'.

Peter was witness to brother William's Marriage in Sth Leith Scotland in 1862. He is reported to have died in a gun-fight in West Kansa USA whilst trying to arrest a criminal - but this is yet unproven. It is not known for sure if Peter actually went to USA!!
